It seems every great photographer has his share of assistants. From Lighting Techs, Grip, Photoshop Experts, People whose job entails grabbing a reflector and a cup of joe for the rest of the crew. There is also creative talent that sometimes comes aboard in a shoot. From Hair Stylists to Models... but what of the Make-up Artist? As a multi photo practitioner I can't tell you enough how I've come to respect the Make-up artist for the subtle things they bring that help make the photograph "better". It's as if the make-up job itself is cherry on top that just makes it right.

I'd like to in particularly thank, my own make-up artist, Erica Salas, whose talent spreads through pop and film noir culture as it does unique artistic interpretation. She is Mac Certified and uses nothing but the best for her clients. Thanks to her, I've been able to make some of my own photographs "better" and appreciate the subtleties her work brings to mine. Solitude Revisited

This shot was originally shot in Alamogordo. It was sometime after a heavy storm. Granted, sometimes you take a shot with intentions on sometimes developing it forward. Originally thinking it wasn't done. Hence, In my continued efforts to clean up my portfolio I introduce to you an updated version of an older pic.
