    Love, no virtue...

Most people forget about the one thing that makes us all so vulnerable; our  innermost emotions. We overlook courteous actions that may only aid in pleasant interaction, or perhaps we speak prematurely, causing a disturbance in someone else’s internal harmony.  I’ve found that many relationships fail to work due to the inconsideration of one or both partners. We often fail to realize that within our lustful, carnal ways lies an eternal energy whose wonders harvest more delicate conditions than any other universal energy ever could. Thus, what happens to us, travels deeply, eventually scarring the tissue called soul.

So why would I be quick to make such a bold statement? With the many behaviors we commit in immoral fashions, our modern world has lost virtue in the way a loving relationship should be. The issues of respect, self-control, and romance are three I can’t help but discuss. For it seems that these efficiently cater to the matter at hand.

Respect has become a laughing matter: to just about anyone, whom you may encounter, including myself in my own passive ways. Where has the respect gone? Not just in relationships, but also amongst each other. Why do we choose to be selfish or commit depreciative acts upon others? Who gave us the idea that to succeed we must bring others down? This is, in no way true . . . for respect only inspirits the “love” in humanity. This could be an answer to courteous days, like making her breakfast or making him dinner. In a broader scale, deeds such as: eagerly translating, opening the door for a stranger, speaking truthfully. Handling each and every entity with the same care a mother would for her child in every single waking moment. This is the secret: realizing that we are all in the dark, and we must light each other’s candle.

Our human instinct is of primal origins. It is our desire, fiery and libido. It is the animal within. .Self control could very easily hinder. In a world where pornographic anime is making its way into the eyes of our children, one can’t help but wonder what may be in store for society’s views on principles of love and intimacy. Unlike days of yesterday, modern society continues down a path of sexual indulgence. Resulting in an unfavorable view on the human form. No longer does the body have a spirit eternal, it now becomes an object of desire and sensual fancies. In time all things sexual will become no more than a game. Becoming a game of cheaters and losers, a violent game of rape and despair, a property or sin, a misconception. In essence, pursue the psyche of an individual and avoid the angst of our most primal instinct from causing too great distress on the future of the other.

Days gone by introduced a powerful key to the evolution of love and life. It became a milestone for literature and an inspiration for poets and artist afar. It is the cry of the most noble, the gift of the hopeless, the amour  romance. So to regain chastity between two people, and keep high stature of their commitment, I suggest an effort of romance amongst the people of today.

Romance, without regard, is a gift of untimely proportions. Each of us has our joy, and it may very easily be obtained through the little effort of another. We all have our stories, share them with your loved ones. Show him or her, the prince or queen you truly are. Make each and every moment a work of art, and in time things will change. Society, therefore becomes an enchanted world filled with delightful souls at every corner. Romance becomes the respect towards each other and toward the world. Respect, is then achieved through romance.

The virtue of love and all things related is within us too. Buried by years of malpractice. The essence of respect, self control, and romance are too often overlooked. We forget to give before we receive, and expect too much from others. If only we would harmonize our relations with righteous acts, maybe then we could see the virtue in all that we do. Finally, love can once again make its way into our hearts . . .without anymore fear or regret.
