Experience

 

 

It is difficult for one to explain the many components that life is made up of.  Although it's true essence may never be discovered, life's meaning is in reach for each of us to find.  Open the eyes and you will see a never ending world full of dimension where even the slightest act can create changes and new paths, this is life. To experience emotions in all it's disguises and to conquer or fall.

            What is the meaning of life?  Allow the question's definition emerge before an answer can be acknowledged.  Life is a principle or force  that is considered to underlie the distinctive quality of animate beings.  Life is the period between birth and death, a taste of existence. Life is having characteristics of growth, reaction, and other qualities that are essential for survival.  The sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up a perh. existence of an individual is life, to "be" is life ( Merriam Webster ).  With all this in mind, all thoughts can now be focused on the belief that the meaning of life are all the experiences one has come to know.

             Modern man's meaning's for our existence has become an endless sea with infinite waves tossing out theory's that fulfill our needs and unawareness. It is because of this, that we drown our own reason with what may be and with what is most definitely not. Who is to say that a blind man's vision is truly empty in sight? And who is to know if an elder's words are truly wise?  Beyond the obvious comes the roots and for this reason the answers we seek are out of reach.  And to think that the possibility of our ignorance can be erased so must our lives. We are not the ultimate race; we were born to die, not born to last.

 

To Exist:

            "Existence occurs and is not asked for. Once we live, we must obey", (  Heschel )

Existence is quite indefinable. It seems to carry itself as we do. Man raises a claim to meaning by the actions he does. A will to learn, an act to guide is an example of a purpose or a reason.  At every heart beat continues the aura of existence. It is before these walls of flesh that lives an eternal power with the will to live. And continuing at every step will be the mind who's strength bares all. After these times of mortality have passed the heart dies and the power is released. After all, under the many actions one does falls the creation of life; the core of existence. Thus, meaning goes beyond what one does, but also to what one is.

 

Tears of Time:

              It is clear that the relation of existence to time is just a page in a book, a chapter to a story. One's existence comes in an instant of time. It's captured beauty fades only holding a place in memory. What is gone is gone forever and what is ahead is out of reach. "We revolve around time's vanishing instances and what we seem to own, we never really posses.      ( Heschel )."

 

Together as one:

                God created man in his image, in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them , saying : "Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it. You are free to eat from any of the trees of the garden, except the tree of knowledge of good and bad. From that tree you shall not eat. The moment you eat from it you are surely doomed to die ( Chapt. 1&2 ; Old Testament ). It was in this beginning

that one became many and many became all. " It seems to me that we have over powered

in numbers. Even quite symbolic is that one's forefathers have conquered in numbers if one's name is common. Although we are truly alone, we are alone together ( Rodriguez ). Can one's purpose to live on be but a stepping stone for mankind? Can we live as one and will die as one? The possibility rests that we live to help preserve mankind. And if every breath taken brings an air of life. Then beyond matter, we are truly as one.

 

The forbidden fruit of knowledge:

               " How, then, may I presume to this high quest and not fear my own brashness? 

( The Inferno )"  It seems a key factor to include the presence of knowledge to further understand meaning. For how could anyone dare to confront an answer without the knowledge of the question. Not to mention, that all have hungered knowledge to some degree. No soul exists that has never confronted their own selves. Knowledge is around us more than we have come to comprehend. A dying tree can be living inside and dream's

actual purpose has not been explored. Knowledge of life is like a hurricane spinning away

it's deepest meanings. " Knowledge, therefore is a set of reminiscences, and, our perception being always incomplete... just a series of random memories  ( Herchel )."

Understanding religon:

              Religion seems much more indefinable then what may appear to the naked eye. It carries no boundaries and no faults. How one came to absorb religion's many attributes is in the deepest of questions. Perhaps a supernatural voice echoed through one's man's reason.  Or indescribable fear lead to another man's path. Some are just stressed to believe in what they do not consider. "Faith is not a product of our will. It occurs without intention, without will. Words expire when uttered and faith is like the silence that draws lover's near ( Parrinder ) ".  

             The following was written from a atheist point of view. It is being mentioned to further convey more depth through a religious meaning.  " Reason argues the existence of God. If the incarnate was crucified, the dialectal paradox concludes that God has already died. The very nature of man's independence applies the connubiality for one's actions. The decision to be free or not to be reveals the magnitude of my freedom.  Froid argued that God is but mere illusion, a need for some cosmic comforter. To resolve our deepest childhood neurosis. A belief based holy on an unfulfilled wish, or is this world a random occurrence. Particles in motion in the corner of the universe; the origin of life, an evolution, an accident? ( Dimentia ) "  It seems to be that at some end, when one feels complete agony, depression and despair we run in the dark and our soul bursts out in distant tears

and even the unbeliever may believe.

 

To Experience:

           Life's meaning is such a fragile issue that even exploring it can cause pain. It's meaning is unsolved by society but not by the individual. Life's meaning is completely inside an individual as many have believed that way. Each person has their own meaning of why they exist and why they will one day perish. Although at times it seems that life may have no meaning, no purpose; we must look into our soul and see the beauty found deep inside of it. To live itself is the ultimate gift given to one and its value is incomparable.   And many have now believed that a person knows the true meaning when they live not to harm or bring others down. But, to aid others in every way possible.

              If all other predictions fail; it is certain that one's actions do in fact build a meaning to a life. A life full of experiences that set you apart from all others. It is inside of these experiences that one learns and does all they ever will. Experience is the core of all meaning for no other stands out. "The greatest experiences are those that have no expressions."( Hershel ) is another fact that evolves around this belief. It is just a sad compromise that with this experience many fail to bring out all that may be. The Ultimate goal can be a nightmare or a dream in the visions of life. To sing and dance with all you have and posses. This is life, the experience.
